Membership
Your memberships and donations fund the grooming and equipment that keep Vallecito’s ski, walking and snowshoe trails open all winter. Thank you!
Vallecito Nordic Ski Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible.
Memberships are $75 for an individual, $100 for a family, and $5 per dog. Additional donations are always appreciated.
Skiing at Vallecito also requires a Pine River Irrigation District (PRID) recreation permit: $60 per car for the year or $6 per day. It’s per car, not per person, so carpool! Permit fees go to PRID and help make the beach groomable for walkers, snowshoers and skiers.

ANNUAL PRID Permit:
Annual passes for the calendar year 2026 will be available the first week of January. The cost is $60 (plus a credit card service fee). All of this purchase goes to PRID, none to Vallecito Nordic. When available you can buy a pass at: PRID Annual Recreation Permit Your 2025 pass works through December 31.
PRID Day-Use Permit:
Daily passes are $6 (plus a service fee) and are available here: PRID Daily Recreation Permit

All membership proceeds support grooming at Vallecito for the ski season.
Memberships purchased by December 17 include drawing tickets for our December member drawing: a high-end skate ski package donated by Pine Needle Mountaineering (thanks Jeremy, Ashley and Esther!) and a two-night stay at Vallecito Huts. Each additional $50 donation to VNC adds a ticket, up to 8 total.
Members also receive 20% off one regularly-priced item at Backcountry Experience. This requires that you are okay with us sending Backcountry your name and email address. (Thanks, Ben!)
Vallecito Nordic Club is a volunteer organization that provides groomed ski trails (and walking/snowshoe trails) on the east side of Vallecito Reservoir. We exist because we have generous donors who support our efforts. Every gift supports grooming, equipment, and trail operations, including fuel and maintenance for our Snow Rabbit groomer.
